How to Get Your Furniture Home
We primarily serve Monroe County, and the surrounding areas, ranging roughly 60 miles from our main locations. Our delivery team is our delivery team - we do not use third parties. We keep everything in-house so that we can ensure excellent customer service.
Our price is a flat $99 within Monroe County, including all set-up, meant to keep the service affordable for everyone, while ensuring that all set-up is done correctly. Pick-up is available, but we highly recommend allowing our team to deliver to ensure that all manufacturer standards are met for relevant warranties.
If you are looking for delivery outside of Monroe County, simply put your zip code in at checkout to verify our ability to ship to you and pricing will appear. If nothing appears, we do not ship to your area. If you are within 60 miles, but your zip code does not work in the cart, please contact info@marksonsfurniture.com.
Delivery FAQs
Preparing for your delivery:
- Measure the area that the furniture will be in
- Measure the pathway the delivery team will need to take to install the furniture
- Remove old furniture
- Remove personal belongings, breakable objects, and other things that may be in the pathway of the team. We cannot handle any personal items.
- Ensure a clear, safe pathway (such as shoveling snow)
- Put pets in another room
- Exterior/front doorway height
- Exterior front doorway width, and clearance to opposite wall
- Staircase width
- Staircase corner width, and clearance to opposite wall upstairs (if your stairs curve)
- Low-hanging light fixtures
- Interior doorway width and clearance to opposite wall
- Interior doorway height
- Stairwell overhang/ceiling height
It is important to measure the depth and width to determine if the furniture will fit in your home’s openings. It is also important to follow the “next steps” of a delivery team’s pathway - the furniture may fit through the door by the numbers, but if the wall is too close to the door, the team may not be able to move on to the next step in the path.
Preparing for pickup:
- Call our Customer Service Department to confirm that your furniture is ready for pick up.
- Re-measure to make sure your new furniture will fit in your home.
- Make sure your vehicle is large enough to safely transport your new furniture.
- Pack rope and blankets to properly secure your new furniture and ensure its safe ride home. Keep in mind that we cannot assist in the securing of your product.
- Any person picking up a purchase must present a copy of the enclosed invoice and a photo ID, and either be listed or authorized on the invoice. If the person picking up is not listed on the invoice, please call our Customer Service Department.
- All product arrival dates are tentative and based on manufacturer lead times. If your furniture is not in stock at the time of purchase the pick up date listed on your invoice may vary based on product arrival.
While you’re picking up: Please inspect all of your new furniture at the time of pick-up. If there are any items that do not meet your approval please inform the team member assisting you.
Orders place online will have any applicable delivery charges listed at checkout if the option for Delivery is chosen.
Some delivery options available in store are not available for online orders.
