The furniture industry has changed immensely over the past decades.
Markson's Furniture is proud to partner with Vaughan-Bassett: they are still producing the same high quality, American-made, American wood bedroom furniture that they were founded with over 100 years ago.
Based in Galax, Virginia, Vaughan-Bassett has produced bedroom furniture since 1919. Over a century later, they employ over 700 people and one of the only manufacturers left that produce exclusively with American workers and American materials.
The company still maintains their same mission all these years later - their number one priority is to provide their customers with unmatched service, quality and service. Markson's Furniture has that same mission, and strive to work with partners to help us achieve that same goal.
The collections are all made with American wood species grown in Virginia, including cherry, poplar, birch, pine oak and maple.
Even more incredibly, Vaughan-Bassett understands their role in protecting our climate. The company plants a tree to replace every single tree they remove to produce furniture. To date, they've planted over 1 million trees.
At the time of this post, Markson's Furniture proudly displays the Dovetail Collection, the Cool Rustic Collection, the Bungalow Collection and the Bonanza Collection at our Greece showroom. We plan on expanding our lineup in the near future!
